How We Review

At The Tsalmaveth Organization, we pride ourselves on keeping our reviews as unbiased, honest, and helpful as we possibly can. There are quite a few things that we do differently, that we think that you should be aware of.

  • The owners of the haunted attractions that we review, get to see what we have written before we post it to the website or any social media. We do this because we think that they should have the opportunity to make us and our readers aware of anything that they deem to be important. We will post their responses to what we have written, at the end of our reviews.

  • We do not ask to skip lines when we go to the attractions. We want to get the full experience that you would have gotten as a guest. Not every customer is going to be paying the VIP prices and skipping all the lines, and we don't think that we should be treated any differently. Some owners do want to stay with us and make sure that they see where we are, and we understand that too, but it will never change the content of our reviews. Value is something that we care about deeply, because we know that is a major factor for the patrons that we are here to support.

  • Within our reviews, we do not compare haunted attractions to one another. Different locations have different features and newer attractions will not be able to compete with more established attractions when it comes to financial availability. We do however choose a favorite attraction at the end of each season, in order to get them some more visibility and their well earned bragging rights.

  • The Tsalmaveth Organization, quite obviously employs haunters that are still actively working at haunted attractions. We would like to take the time to assure you that no one who is working at a certain haunted attraction will have any hand in the review process for their haunt. They will see the review only when it goes live on the website and our social media. If no one is available to do the review that does not work at that location, we will not review it that year.
